Gibson Ad Campaign
Erin Krumpe (Copywriter) and AJ Sabino (Art Director). Photography by Ed Blankenship.
Magazine ad campaign for Gibson Guitars. Erin and I came up with the concept, working back and forth with ideas and headlines. She came up with a good headline for the final, as seen here. Ed and I went out to shoot photos with our great models (from top to bottom): Lou, Dave, and Chris. Then Ed worked on the photos, and I added the rock star reflections and final edits. Erin was a great copywriting partner throughout, and we just kept hammering out ideas with no trouble at all. Ed brought his keen eye to the campaign, and really made some great photos that, in my opinion, really tell the story Erin and I wanted to tell.

Battlefield: Bad Company Ad Campaign
Art Director: AJ Sabino / Copywriter: Evan Crumley.
A 3-part series of ads for the video game Battlefield: Bad Company from DICE Software and EA Games. The idea was to parody the idea of "no man left behind," which led to our headline: "All for One, and One for Himself." It plays off of the human truth, how far can a person be pushed until the morals of society start to tear? In this case, that's putting your own needs in front of those of your own teammates. Battlefield: BC is an interesting game, where four soldiers have been left behind by the military, and they just don't care what happens any more. They decide to go for broke and try to make a lot of money. A good campaign to work on, and one that was drastically different than the Gibson campaign. Evan was a great partner throughout.
