EA ANNUAL REPORT
Annual report for Electronic Arts (EA Games), one of the largest video game companies in the world. Since it was founded, EA has always been at the forefront of the industry and has helped turn video games into something for kids to play by themselves to a worldwide social gathering that connects gamers of all ages. The purpose of the project was to redesign an annual report, using an existing company, its logo, and content from the last published annual report. -
LET THERE BE ROCK
A 24” x 36” Process Poster that describes the history of the electric guitar, how a guitar works and how amps and distortion work. The title, from the AC/DC song of the same name, refers to the fact that the electric guitar is synonymous with rock music and the visual elements reflect the energy brought forth by the electric guitar. -
THE VISION OF WALT DISNEY
The subject for this book was randomly selected from the Time 100 List. Extensive research was done on Walt Disney, with most of the information coming from The Art of Walt Disney. The information was sorted through, edited down, then rewritten to provide the text for the book. Final book was hand-bound using a stitching technique. -
THERE WAS AN OLD LADY WHO SWALLOWED A FLY
A classic children’s story retold using a typographic treatment. In the story, and old lady swallows a fly and continues to eat increasingly larger animals to catch the previously swallowed animal. The graphic approach was to use various letter forms to create the old lady as well as animals which she eats in the story. -
NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MUSEUM
A series of pop-up brochures were created for the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Each brochure relates to a different exhibit in the museum, and each pop-up is influenced by the subject of the exhibit. Interior text discusses certain aspects of the war exhibits, and the back features museum information. -
2008 WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE
A promotional booklet for a fictional 2008 World Scout Jamboree held in Moscow, Russia. The visual style was chosen to make the book look and feel like a survival guide. The book contains information about the Jamboree itself, various events that would be held there, as well as information about Moscow and some of its landmarks.
